An identity card can be obtained from the territorial police organizations, regardless of the registration at the place of residence

The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov, has signed an order on additional measures in connection with the increase of the customer satisfaction in the field of issue of ID-cards.
In accordance with the order, starting on November 1 of this year, the employees of the territorial police organizations on the registration matters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs functioning in the ASAN Khidmat centers will issue an identity card of a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, regardless of the registration at the place of residence.

In addition, we note that in accordance with relevant Decree of the President of the country, regular passports, which are electronic carriers, applied from September 2013, starting from the same year will also be issued to the citizens regardless of the registration at the place of residence in any ASAN Khidmat center and territorial police organizations. In common, necessary measures are being taken to serve the citizens in accordance with the standards in all the areas of the activity of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs.
