Exceptionally, it is granted in two business days
13.03.2019The national passport can be issued within two working days of the immediate treatment of the citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan or the accompanying person(s), or in case of serious illness, death of a close relative living abroad. In this regard, the following supporting documents are required:
- Letter of health authority confirming the necessity of immediate treatment;
- The letter of the medical institution of the foreign country on the necessity of urgent treatment (also the medical opinion of the health institution of the patient's place of residence);
- A reference from a foreign medical institution that certifies the fact of severe illness or death of a relative.
