The works carried out by order of the governing body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for issuing civil passports and replacing expired documents with new ones in cities and regions of the country, have yielded positive results. Thus, the services provided by regional departments in all regions of the country are welcomed by citizens.
The impeccable service of the Regional Center of the Main Passport, Registration and Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Southern (Lenkoran) Region is highly valued by residents. Acceptance of documents in the regional departments of Lankaran, Lerik, Masalli, Astara, Yardimli, Jalilabad and Bilasuvar regions is carried out on weekdays. At the same time, the center staff regularly organizes mobile services in the surrounding regions and villages. Citizens can simply apply for a civil passport in the regions and villages where they live.
A total of 25,693 documents were accepted by the Southern Regional Center in 2018. 14357 of them were accepted at the regional center, and 11336 - during the provision of mobile services. Accepted documents were issued to citizens for periods (1, 5 or 10 working days) corresponding to the size of the state duty provided for obtaining a civil passport.
During the events, disabled and physically challenged persons were not ignored as well. So, the police officers go to the addresses where they live, accept the relevant documents and issue them when the passports are ready. Residents are satisfied with their services and express them gratitude.
