Children can become holders of civil passports from the date of birth

The general civil passport is issued to children at the age up to 1 year for 1 year, at the age of 1-3 years for 3 years, for citizens aged 3-18 years for a period of 5 years. According to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "Concerning State Duty" the state fee for issuing general civil passports for persons who have not reached the age of 18, is defined as follows:  

The validity of the passport, issued to children under 1 year, is 1 year, and state fees are as follows:

For 10 business days – 10 AZN;
For 5 business days– 20 AZN;
For 1 business day – 40 AZN.

The validity of a foreign passport, issued to children aged 1-3 years, is 3 years. State fees are as follows:

For 10 business days – 20 AZN;
For 5 business days – 40 AZN;
For 1 business day – 80 AZN

The validity of a passport that is issued to citizens aged 3-18, is 5 years and state fees are as follows:

For 10 business days – 30 AZN;
For 5 business days – 60 AZN;
For 1 business day – 120 AZN.
