Rules for replacement of general civil passports
10.04.2018According to Article 10 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on "Departure from the country, entry into the country and passports", general civil passport should be replaced in the following cases:
- when changing the surname, name and patronym of the passport holder;
- when determining inaccuracies in passport records;
- if the passport becomes unusable.
When a citizen applies for the changing of general civil passport, the following documents are required:
- Identity card;
- For citizens aged 18 to 35 years - a military ticket or a certificate on attachment to the recruiting office with a note about granting the right of deferment by the military commissariat (registration certificate or a white card);
It should be noted that when issuing a new passport to a citizen it is proposed to return a previously issued passport.
